The tour will taken by one of our bilingual escorts. Much of the travel will be conducted utilizing the public transportation system. Even though you do not need to be an athlete we must insist that participants are of an acceptable level of fitness.
Accommodation in Kyoto is in a Japanese ryokan (for September tour), rooming is Japanese however if western style rooms are required they can be requested but not guaranteed.

Depart Sydney (interstate passengers will need to take connecting flights to Sydney) and arrive in the early evening at Narita Airport. Upon arrival at Narita airport you will meet your escort and transfer to the Marroad International Hotel Narita.
Join your escort for a welcome buffet dinner at the hotel and meet the other members of your group.

| Early Breakfast. Leave Kyoto and travel to the famous city of Hiroshima by Shinkansen. After checking your luggage into your hotel visit Peace Park[10], the A-Bomb Dome[11] and the Peace Museum, then on to Miyajima Island, a lovely island very close to Hiroshima, which is considered to be one of Japan's 3 most beautiful spots. Miyajima is home to the famous Torii[12] standing in the sea and Itsukushima shrine[13]. Return to Hiroshima. |

| After breakfast your will have the morning free to explore Hiroshima. Around noon you will make your way to Tokyo with your escort. |

| After breakfast enjoy the day seeing the sights of Tokyo. Visit Asakusa Kannon Temple[14], the oldest temple in Tokyo, and Nakamise[15], the bustling shopping arcade full of various trinkets. Then on to Meiji shrine, Shinjuku[16], and the Tokyo Government Building[17] for an expansive view of Tokyo. Rest of the afternoon is free. Shinjuku is a major shopping and business district well known for its evening Neon lights. |
