See world heritage sites such as Miyajima, the Golden Temple and Ryoanji (rock garden) or maybe a geisha at Gion corner. Dialysis treatment is booked with Dialysis Abroad.

The tour will taken by one of our bilingual escorts. Much of the travel will be conducted utilizing the public transportation system. This tour is limited to 8 hemodialysis patients plus family and friends.

A MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TOUR TO DEPART.

Day 1 - Friday

SYDNEY/TOKYO Depart Sydney (interstate passengers will need to take connecting flights to Sydney) and arrive in the early evening at Narita Airport. Upon arrival at Narita airport you will meet your escort and transfer to the Hotel Grand Palace Tokyo.

Day 2 - Saturday

TOKYO Dialysis and leisure time (non Dialysis patients will be with guide)

Day 3 - Sunday

TOKYO After breakfast enjoy a day tour of Tokyo

Day 4 - Monday

TOKYO Full day tour of Nikko lunch included

Day 5 - Tuesday

HIROSHIMA After breakfast, leave Tokyo early and travel to the famous city of Hiroshima by Shinkansen (bullet train)[1]. Dialysis in the afternoon.

Day 6 - Wednesday

HIROSHIMA Breakfast at the hotel then a tour of Hiroshima, visit Peace Park[2], the A-Bomb Dome[3] and the Peace Museum, Shukkeien Gardens[4], then on to Miyajima Island, a lovely island very close to Hiroshima, which is considered to be one of Japan's 3 most beautiful spots. Miyajima is home to the famous Torii[5] standing in the sea and Itsukushima shrine[6]. Return to Hiroshima.

Day 7 - Thursday

HIROSHIMA Dialysis and leisure time (non Dialysis patients will be with guide)

Day 8 - Friday

KYOTO After breakfast make your way to Okayama visiting one of Japan's 3 most famous gardens and Okayama castle. Continue on to your hotel.

Day 9 - Saturday

KYOTO Dialysis and day at leisure

Day 10 - Sunday

KYOTO After breakfast a day tour of Kyoto.

Day 11 - Monday

NARITA Dialysis for those requiring it. Transfer to Osaka airport and fly to Tokyo, then onto your international flight back to Sydney.

Private dialysis charges are not included in the tour price. These are to be paid in Japan directly to the clinic. Estimated cost is 25000yen~35000yen per treatment.

NOTE:Due to the airlines' restrict rules bookings made within 70 days of departure will require full payment at time of booking. Flights will be on a request only basis after this time. If seats are not available payment will be refunded. Trans Orbit reserves the right to close or cancel the tour anytime before the departure.
